An ADJUSTMENT to parking at Centenary Hospital

Dear CCHC community.

On site hospital parking for patients/visitors is now only available in the South Lot, referred to on some signage as “the back lot”, also named the Margaret Birch Wing entrance. NOTE: Many patients tell us are still parking in the Tim Horton’s/Food Basics parking lot across the street ($2/hour) and on the street on Trailridge Crescent.

From South Lot parking, you will need to walk through the hospital from the South Entrance (which is on the 1st floor), and walk ((on that same level)) through the hospital to the Medical Mall (MM). There is an elevator at the end of the hall (after you turn right) that will take you up to the 3rd floor and our suite 318. NOTE: If you use the south elevator in the Margaret Birch Wing, you will arrive in the main hospital patient rooms area.

We continue to enthusiastically advocate and negotiate for a more workable parking solution for our patients, especially those with significant pain and mobility concerns, and the need for mobility aids. We will update as we have new information to share.

Please phone the clinic if you have immediate issues at your appointment time 416-724-7888. Feel free to call, email or reply to text reminders with any less timely questions or issues.

I have confirmed that the grace period during which you can enter then exit the hospital lot without charge is only 8 minutes. However, I recommend using the intercom to be allowed out to guarantee you won’t be charged.

We so appreciate your understanding and patience as we are challenged by last minute changes and minimal communication from those in the know.
